The Town of Elbridge Court presides over misdemeanor, vehicle and traffic matters, other violations of the law and has preliminary jurisdiction over felony matters. In addition, the civil jurisdiction extends to disputes involving less than $3000 and includes a small claims part where litigants may appear without attorneys to seek resolution of civil claims involving less than $3000. Summary proceedings involving landlord/tenant matters are governed by statute and may include rental claims or any amount.

Fines may be paid during office hours at the Court Clerk's Office. Payment is by money order, cash, or credit card (Visa/Mastercard) only - personal checks are not accepted. Credit card payments are not accepted by phone; they must be made in person so a signature can be obtained.

Directions to the Town of Elbridge Municipal Offices:

From the East:
Take I-690 W to Exit 6 towards RT-5/Auburn. Merge onto NY-695 S. Merge onto NY-5 W toward Auburn. Follow RT-5 W through the Village of Elbridge. Turn right onto HAMILTON Rd. Turn left onto MCLAUGHLIN Dr. Turn right onto NY-31. Town Offices on the left across from the Lilly Pad.

From the Thruway: 
Take the NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY to exit 40 Weedsport/Auburn. Turn right onto RT-34. Turn left onto RT-31. Follow RT-31 into Jordan. Town Offices will be on your left after the Jordan-Elbridge Community Center.

From Auburn:
Take RT-5 towards Elbridge. Turn left onto HAMILTON Rd. Turn left onto MCLAUGHLIN Dr. Turn right onto RT-31. Town Offices on the left.
