Court is held at 5 Route 31 Jordan, NY on most Mondays at 5:00 PM except on holidays.
The Town of Elbridge Court presides over misdemeanor, vehicle, and traffic matters, other violations of the law and has preliminary jurisdiction over felony matters. In addition, the civil jurisdiction extends to disputes involving less than $3000 and includes a small claims part where litigants may appear without attorneys to seek resolution of civil claims involving less than $3000. Summary proceedings involving landlord/tenant matters are governed by statute and may include rental claims or any amount.
Fines may be paid during office hours at the Court Clerk's Office. Payment is by money order, cash, or credit card (Visa/MasterCard) only - Personal checks are not accepted. Credit card payments are not accepted by phone; they must be made in person so a signature can be obtained. Effective immediately a 2.99% fee is added to all credit card transactions.
